Brussel onderscheidt zich niet van andere steden in termen van criminaliteit, zei Fernand Koekelberg op woensdagochtend op La Premi\u00e8re. De commissaris-generaal van de federale politie heeft bevestigd dat de diefstal in de lift zit. Volgens de DH steeg het aantal gewapende aanvallen van 2.180 in 2007 tot 2.662 in 2009, een stijging van 20% in twee jaar. Maar liefst 30% van de incidenten vond plaats in en rond Brussel. Met betrekking tot het fenomeen van \u00ab\u00a0Hit and Run\u00a0\u00bb bevestigt Fernand Koekelberg het bestaan voor meerdere jaren van reizende bands uit het buitenland die naar Belgi\u00eb komen om een overval te plegen en vervolgens direct vertrekken.<\/p>\n
